Yesterday we met with the bank again to sign for the next stage of our loan, the build loan. While we already have a loan for the land, that’ll essentially be rolled into a new home loan package where we have the full amount for the build.

This loan will grow as we draw down over the next 4-5 months as Meticon complete the 5 stages of the build.

After signing yesterday, the paperwork is expected to clear by Tuesday. By then, Metricon should receive the build certificate from the council which should leave us with a big green light to finally commence the build.

At this stage, its likely we’ll get a build start date sometime in the first week of November.
